Welcome to the CTN+ Letter of Support Request & Portfolio Study Submission portal. This process allows CTN+ Researchers to request Letters of Support for their projects and submit new studies to be recognized as CTN+ Portfolio Studies and receive support from CTN+ in the form of a variety of in-kind and advanced services for fully funded studies.
To start the process, please click the "Apply" button on the right. This will take you to the Letter of Support Request form, which allows you to request an official CTN+ Letter of Support by providing additional details about your project, your requested services, and your application deadlines. Depending on your request, this process may differ in the following ways:
- If you are requesting an LoS with the expectation to submit the project as a CTN+ Portfolio Study, your application will be held in the system after you receive the letter. If and when your project successfully secures funding, you will be able to submit a Full Submission form to apply for Portfolio Study status. Your application will be adjudicated by the CTN+ review committees. You will receive an official notice of decision from the CTN+ Steering Committee at the end of this process.
- If you are requesting an LoS for a project that will not move on to a full CTN+ Portfolio Study submission (e.g. team grants, planning & dissemination grants, etc.), the application process ends with the issuing of your letter and does not move on to the Full Submission stage.
- If you are requesting an update to a previously issued LoS, you will be asked to upload the previous letter as part of submitting the request form. The process otherwise proceed in the same way as described above.
You can view your application details and status at any point by clicking on "My Applications" at the top of this page.
If you have any questions or concerns about this process, please send an email to submissions@hivnet.ubc.ca. Additionally, you can find all CTN+ Portfolio guidance documents on the Portfolio Resources page.
